Could you open your home to someone in need? Our new Welcoming Homes scheme is looking for people willing to offer a spare room to those in need of temporary accommodation, while they get back on their feet.

Hosts will receive a monthly thank-you payment to cover household expenses, as well as ongoing support from a dedicated caseworker who will provide help to both hosts and their guests.

Anyone aged 65 years and over - or turning 65 by 31 March next year - is encouraged to get a free flu vaccination this winter to help them stay well.
